Primedia Broadcasting has announced plans to make Primedia+ available on Connected TV. The plan was reported in a company press release published by Bizcommunity on 21 October 2026, following an event at Primedia’s Sandton headquarters. The release describes Connected TV availability as forthcoming; it does not confirm that the service has launched on that platform.

Primedia+ expands its planned distribution

The Connected TV plan follows the August 2026 launch of Primedia+ on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, according to the release. Those launches are distinct from the proposed Connected TV availability: the announcement gives no confirmed launch date for the latter.

Connected TV would add another way to access Primedia+ if the plan proceeds. For advertisers, the announcement identifies a prospective platform, not verified audience figures or evidence of campaign performance.

An integrated commercial offering

The release also describes Primedia Amplified as combining sponsorship, content integration, experiential marketing, media sales, commercial strategy and digital technology. It presents these as parts of an integrated offering rather than documenting a formal merger of business units.

The commercial distinction is between services Primedia says it is bringing together and outcomes those services might produce. The release sets out the offering and the Connected TV plan, but the supplied evidence does not establish advertiser results or audience scale.
