Your content and listings
You retain your rights in submitted content. You grant Lead Sector the non-exclusive permission needed to store, format, moderate and display that content to operate the service and, for approved public content, make it discoverable. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for text, images, logos, contact information and uploaded files. Keep published information accurate and request corrections when needed. Private uploads and lists are not a grant to publish them as public listings.
Moderation, verification and discovery
Lead Sector may request evidence, return content for changes, reject, restrict or remove material for policy, legal or security reasons. Verification describes checks performed; it is not an endorsement, a guarantee of quality or government approval. Search relevance, AI-readiness indicators and rankings are informational and may change. Paid visibility does not guarantee an editorial ranking, search-engine position, lead, sale or job.
Workspace lists and email campaigns
Only use contacts for purposes you are lawfully entitled to pursue. Importing, tagging or sharing a list does not create consent. A marketing-access grant allows use of a tool; it does not override recipient consent or suppression. Do not bypass unsubscribe, consent, duplicate-send or weekly-frequency protections by creating another list, account or campaign. Respect the scope of consent and the requirements for any first consent request. Email designs must identify the sender accurately, use lawful content and preserve required subscription and unsubscribe controls.
Sending, reports and automation
Scheduling and sending depend on account permissions, recipient eligibility, service availability and provider limits. Queued messages can be skipped if a recipient becomes ineligible. Delivery acceptance does not guarantee inbox placement or readership. Reports distinguish activity, delivery and newly added records; repeated checks of an existing contact do not necessarily add a new contact. Automation must not be used to evade access restrictions, harvest private information or send unsolicited bulk messages.
News and AI-assisted content
AI tools can produce inaccurate, outdated or infringing material. Review generated drafts, sources, image rights and claims before approving publication or scheduling. You remain responsible for material you submit or approve. Draft, review, publish and schedule controls do not guarantee originality, accuracy or search-engine indexing. Report an article error or rights concern to support@leadsector.co.za with the relevant URL and supporting details.
Jobs and applications
Employers must advertise genuine, lawful opportunities, accurately identify the employer and keep availability and closing dates current. Applicants must not be charged application, interview or placement fees through the platform. Lead Sector is not the employer and does not guarantee an interview or offer. Listings from external providers identify their source and may take you to another site with its own terms and privacy policy. Check the employer and destination before supplying documents; never provide banking PINs, passwords or suspicious deposits.
Paid services, cancellations and refunds
Check the stated price, currency, taxes, duration, renewal arrangements, scope and activation conditions before purchasing. Payment does not override moderation. Any separate proposal or order terms apply to that service, subject to mandatory law. Contact support@leadsector.co.za with your order reference to request cancellation, correction or a refund. Applicable rights under the Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, including any qualifying cooling-off rights and lawful exceptions, are not excluded by these Terms.
Advertising and business solutions
Advertisers are responsible for accurate claims, lawful artwork, licensed assets and safe destinations. Sponsored visibility must not be presented as independent endorsement. Custom development, marketing or enterprise work requires an agreed scope covering deliverables, fees, ownership, support and acceptance. A general enquiry does not itself confirm an order or delivery commitment.
Prohibited use
Do not commit fraud, impersonate another person, infringe intellectual property, submit discriminatory or unlawful content, distribute malware, steal credentials, misuse applicant information or interfere with the service. Do not evade moderation, security measures, recipient choices or reasonable access limits. The Acceptable Use Policy also applies.
Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care in operating the platform, but maintenance, incidents and external providers can interrupt it. Third-party information and services may change without notice. Use appropriate backups and independently verify material decisions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections, or removes your rights concerning unlawful processing of personal information.
Suspension, closure and disputes
We may restrict access for material breach, unlawful activity, security risk or non-payment and will provide an explanation where appropriate and lawful. You can stop using the service and request account closure; closure does not erase outstanding contractual duties or records that must lawfully be retained. South African law applies, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you. Contact support@leadsector.co.za to seek resolution. This does not prevent access to a competent court, regulator or other lawful complaint process.
